One battery DOA & only 1 year warranty
Mine just arrived and I’m a little disappointed. One of the main reasons to buy Ridgid tools is the lifetime warranty. Well, unlike other manufactures who include a full warranty of re-manufactured items, Ridgid doesn’t. It’s only one year, which I wouldn’t complain about if they had said so in the product description. I read very carefully before buying and it only said the warranty might be affected if shipped to overseas AFPO addresses. I just rechecked and at the time of writing this review that is the only mention of the warranty in the product description.
Other than that the tool is great. Used but so is a new one after one day. The charger is very impressive, it even tests your batteries to tell if they are defective. It says that one of the two batteries that came with the tool is defective. I’m sure if I call they’ll ship me a new battery etc.
I thinking I’ll return the whole thing and get a new one so that I can have a lifetime warranty for just a few more $ at the HD after christmas sale.
Anyhow, I thought future shoppers should know about the 1 year warranty ahead of time.
Update (2/4/2012): I also found some auctions for this item here.

Don’t deal with this company
I purchased a reconditioned Ridgid drill from Mowtown USA. When I received the drill neither one of the batteries were good. I called Mowtown and was told they would replace the batteries with new ones. After 2 weeks and no batteries I called and was told the factory was on backorder for the batteries???? They wanted to replace the entire set with a diffferent one but I chose to return the drill. They said they would send me a return lable and arrange a pickup–didn’t happen. I finally got them to email me the lable and returned the drill kit. These people were terriable to deal with and I will never use them again.

You get what you pay for….
Just going to give a quick review. You are basically purchasing a USED drill, don’t confuse this with “reconditioned”. I’ve bought other “reconditioned” tools in the past and they came looking like new or at least respectable. My drill arrived in a dirty bag, and was pretty well beat up. Granted it works fine but it looks worse than the 7 year old drill it replaced. One of my batteries is showing defective on the charger. Customer support at CPO Ridgid supposedly is sending a replacement battery but that was on March 6th and today is the 18th and still no battery. Also the batteries that came with it are not the ones shown in the picture, they are about 1 inch taller. If you are creative enough, you can buy a brand new drill, two new batteries and a charger for about $60 more, and if I were to do it again, that would be the way I would go. Since buying the drill, I have added the Max Select Cordless Planer (new), Fuego Cordless Reciprocating Saw (new), and Heavy Duty Cordless Circular Saw (new) and two more Ridgid tools bags for allot less than the Combo Kit offered at local home improvement store.
Update: May 10th, I have dropped my review down to one star because of the seller. After promising a replacement battery was being sent by the manufacturer multiple times and waiting now months, I still don’t have the battery as they promised. I will not be purchasing any more items from CPO Ridgid. Their customer service is poor at best.
