Great Mailbox
Great mailbox. Installed easily. The screws it came with were too short for my application. I had to go through vinyl siding into the wall behind so I reused the screws from my old mailbox. It works great. It will hold a lot of mail and even if the carrier puts something overly large in there, the lid will most likely still shield it from the elements.

I tried putting a bulky manila envelope in there (10 by 13, stuffed to about an inch thick) and it stood in there on its long edge and the box closed completely. Things that are not stiff, like magazines, will easily and naturally curve along the bottom of the box.

I bought this locally because I wanted to see it before buying and the price was similar. I was a little nervous about it being TOO big. The dimensions on my box, for this exact model, are slightly smaller than amazon gives. The box says 9 3/4 by 16 3/4 by 4 5/8. The usable interior size is about 9 1/4 by 16. The box is slightly tapered so that the top is a little wider than the bottom.
