I almost feel like vendors try to not let you find this memory.
If you think about it Apple is placing SO-DIMM RAM which was intended for laptops into its desktop. Very unusual but it definitely makes sense from a size perspective. However it is always more challenging to find the right RAM using other sites tools to determine the best fit for your machine.
Well if you have a 2008 iMac these chips are smoking. It runs my iMac like a champ at least for the last month. I will see over time if there are any other issues.

Low Cost, High quality, fast delivery
This is by far the best investment I’ve made since my Imac. If you have a Mac(or pc) this is a great deal, it will increase productivity specially if you are running several applications at the same time. If you run Parralels or VM ware fusion, this will also make your life a lot easier. I actually run VMware fusion with vista (dont ask why) and the original ram(1gb) was not enough to keep full speed on both operating systems at the same time. Now with 4gb it’s more than enough to get things done fast.

Worked perfectly in new Imac
I purchased a new Imac that uses the faster memory. Instead of paying the high price for memory from Apple I decided to try it from Amazon since it was half the price. When I recieved the memory I just popped open the memory slot, took out the old memory that came in the computer and replace with these. It was a perfect fit and the Apple never complained once.
