MAGLITE AM2A496 Mounting, Handy Item

Overall Rating55555

Handy Item

Perfect for placing those mini-maglites you get in package deals with the larger ones. This helped spread these usefull items out to other locations where a big flashlite would not go.
I had the clips for the larger MagLites and wanted to put the smaller ones to good use also. Couldn’t find them anywhere but online.
I now have a mixture of large and small MagLites situated thoughout my house, garage and shed for those critical times of need.
Did read a good tip about storing the flashlights lens down so they don’t collect dust and obscure the light. Good tip!

Update (5/19/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen. I also found some auctions for this item here.

Works great
I own an Chevy Avalanche and saw another owner use this for a really cool place to mount the flashlight.

I have a small flashlight mounted near the top (on the inside) of the compartment between the front seats. Keeps it from disappearing in the mess of junk in the compartment.

Even better - Since the Avalanche has “saddle bag” compartments above and behind the rear wheels, I mounted a flashlight on the lid to the compartment so it’s always easy to find/reach.

Would work good on someone’s workbench mounted on a wall rather than buried in a drawer.
