not very good
The heater pictured is different from one I ordered and recieved. I think I got a newer model, I had the one pictured for several years and it worked fine. The one I recieved does not work on all settings, only low. It worked fine when I first got it and now after a few weeks it does not. I use it in my office and it is quite and would be fine if it worked and didnt shut off on some settings. Not sure if I just dot a defective heater.

Compact and inexpensive Holmes heating unit
The heaters are relatively inexpensive and very compact. Overall, I think they are worth the money. The only complaint is that the unit, unlike many others I had, it does not stop automatically at the scale. The manual says it goes off if tipped, but it is not immediate. Prefer to see that feature improved safety, but I may have missed something. The unit remains cool on the outside and present less danger in many respects to others, then there is more.

Excellent heating for its size
Great product. For its size the Holmes HFH105 heats a small single room very well. It may be a bit noisy but that should not refrain you from buying the product. Its not very expensive but you will see a definite increase in your electricity bill but a bargain in terms of overall energy cost savings.
