GXT-450VP1 Midland Xtra, cool radios - work better..

cool radios - work better than expected
Range received so far has been what I expected - in urban conditions clear reception over 5 miles - I havent tried further yet.
I will be getting rechargeable batteries - but have been running these on standard batteries for over 24hrs and still running ok.
I have various midland radios and these are great

BEWARE midland xtra talk gxt 450 ARE JUNK
ATTENTION If I could would these radios, a lower value than one, I don, t be fooled by up to 12 miles when they reach a mile you will be lucky to vibrate feature works only sometimes rings or other times it does nothing, the VOX feature is nice, but far too sensitive even at the lowest setting when the weather never work radio I would not trust these radios in the woods hunting could get them to go back
