Does what it’s suppose to do
This item works well if the device you are plugging in is already powered such as a printer or fax. You will have problems if you want to plug in an unpowered item such as a memory stick or a wireless usb card. If using one of these unpowered devices, you will get a message saying “not enough power to operate”.
Update (5/19/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Does what it says on the tin
A good deal so long as you remember it.s 1.1, so it’s not going to be terribly speedy. But it’s small and fits in a pocket of my bag without getting in the way until I need it. That’s exactly what I want out of this type of product.

Works great!
This pocket hub is small and works great. I have two USB printers hooked up to it.
