I’ve had this random orbit sander for about 10 years now, and after years of hard use on everything from sanding the reproduction Stickley furniture I make, to smoothing my amateur plastering patches in my 1920s house, the pad finally failed. This new pad is an exact replacement and restored my DW421 to top working condition!

Dewalt can use Makita pad
FYI, just found out that, the Dewalt Makita 421 of the replacement pad (see Makita 743051-7 5 Use "Rubber Pad). The opposite is not true - Makita has a bed that prevents the use of the Dewalt pad. News, if this phone product is currently not available.

dewalt sannder pad
Dewalt Replacement sannder pad fits and works perfectly. I thought the price was a bit high but other then that I am pleased.
