My childhood can opener
Swing-A-Way Magnetic Wall Can Opener This is the can opener of my childhood. I am 64 and I was thrilled to find this product for sale. It is by far the easiest can opener, manual or electric, for people with any issues of strength or dexterity. I have arthritis and this can opener is truly effortless. It is easy for children to operate. Cleaning is simple since the can opener easily lifts off its base.

Wall mounted Swing-A-Way Can Opener
After decades of use we needed to replace our swing-a-way can opener. We did not have the extra counter space needed for an electric can opener. I searched chain stores like Bed-Bath-and Beyond, Linens and Things etc for this simple but effective mechanical can-opener before finding it at Amazon.com. I bought an extra one to give away. An excellent product.

Perfect example of solid, simple reliability!
Truly a classic, and works like a charm. Why bother unreliable butter with a different, counter-hogging appliance like an electric can opener, if you can play this silent perfection? Opens may, as they were made by Tops. Seriously, this is the best thing in my kitchen …
