Very good sink mat
I recommend this to someone who doesn’t like having to clean the sink continually (especially those of us with white porcelain sinks). This mat keeps things OFF the bottom of the sink, but also allows air to flow underneath it to help it dry better. However, for those of us with hard water, rust may still occur, but because of the microbial coating, it tends to almost just wipe off. What manufacturers might want to consider in future outings in sinkware is to make them not out of chrome, but stainless steel — that way, there’s no rust. The accessibility for the drain is very good (hinged at center), and it makes use a breeze. I recommend this to my friends.s

I could not find a mat to fit my extra large sink and thought this might be the ticket. It protects the sink, but gets in the way most mat does. I do not really see the value in it. The best to be said is that the receiver can be rinsed of debris without removing it as you have to do with a mat. It seems more sanitary than a mat for this reason. The metals sector hinges to allow access to the leak does not work right because of how he is sitting in my sink. This accessory can be good for some, but it does not work for me as I hoped. I add this note, after much time using this product. In fact, it proved to be very useful. I have a mat in a side of my double sink and this, in the side of waste disposal. It rinses better than the matte side without having to remove it. And better yet, the metal grid can be used to dish drainer in the sink. It cleans well and is very robust. This does not let me wear it to 4 stars, but I now recommend.

Sink protector
I love this type of sink protector!!! I’ve tried several others and always came back to this one. It looks nice and it’s elevated enough so it protects my sink from scratches. One section easily flips up so food can go down the disposal. The only down side is that you will need to replace it once a year because of wear and tear from pots and pans. The metal bars get scuffed up and tend to look rusted after a year of use. This really isn’t much of a down side to me though. You won’t regret buying this product!
